Recruitment Information

  1. Must be able to commit to shift work: covering days, evenings, nights, statutory holidays, special events - all of which may include being called in on short notice
  2. Must be eligible to work in Canada
  3. Successful completion of Perfex (Aptitude test done in house)
  4. First Phase of Security Clearance
  5. Sit in for 6 hours
  6. Grade 12 Diploma or GED
  7. Current Standard First Aid/Level C CPR (Adult, Child & Infant)
  8. Current Emergency Medical, Fire, and Police Dispatching Courses (EMD, EFD, EPD)
  9. Minimum typing speed 40 wpm
  10. Interview Process
  11. Second Phase of Security Clearance; Which includes a Polygraph
    • be free of criminal activity for 36 months ie) no drug usage, impaired driving, theft, etc
  12. Must pass Hearing In Noise Test (HINT)
  13. Drug Testing
  14. Candidate Selection Evaluation
