The City of Medicine Hat is developing a Recreation Master Plan that will guide the City's needs for the next 10 years in the most effective manner possible.
The Recreation Master Plan will identify trends as well as priorities for future recreation infrastructure, programming, and strategies.
Public consultation will be an integral component in the development of the Recreation Master Plan. Local residents and community organizations will be engaged to share their perspectives on recreation needs. All input collected throughout this process with help in the understanding of existing and future community needs.
A draft of the Recreation Master Plan is scheduled to be ready for the fall of 2011.
