The Purchasing Department provides leadership, support, coordination, and supervision for safe, efficient and effective purchasing and material control services in support of all City departments. Key responsibilities of the Purchasing Services Department include the procurement of goods and services, inventory management, monitoring of department purchases, as well as the development, implementation, and recommendation of changes to policies and procedures.
