Sewer Service Line Cleaning:
If your sanitary sewer service line from the house to the sanitary sewer main in the street is plugged:

• Environmental Utilities will respond during normal working hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Sunday to clear your service line free of charge.
• If the problem is in the evening/night (from 4:00 PM and 8:00 AM), your choices are to call a private sewer cleaning contractor (see the telephone book yellow pages under Plumbing Sewer & Drain Cleaning) at your expense, or wait until business hours for the Sewer Utility to schedule this cleaning (typically completed on the day of the call).

Water Coming Up From Your Basement Floor Drain:
If you observe water coming up from your basement floor drain and you are not running water anywhere in your house, there may be a plugged sanitary sewer main serving your street. Please call 403.529.8176 immediately. Environmental Utilities will unplug city common mains any time of the day or night.
