Community Warmth, developed by the City of Medicine Hat, is an energy assistance program. Low income individuals and families who are unable to pay their City of Medicine Hat utility bill due to financial hardship or crisis may receive support from the program. The Salvation Army administrates the program and the City of Medicine Hat provides a convenient mechanism through utility billing for contributors to donate monthly.
If you want to donate directly to the cause, you can arrange for an additional charge of $1 or more a month on your utility bill in support of the program. For more information about the Community Warmth program, click here.
Community Warmth Application
Joining the program is as easy as completing the online application.
