The City of Medicine Hat offers a wide range of grant opportunities. Please read the information below about the different types of grants and follow the links for the available grant applications.

Community Development Grants Community Development

The Community Development Department offers grants to non-profit groups for preventive and/or community enrichment social services projects. Please see the brochure for project criteria.  The application form can be filed in online and printed for signature and submission.

Cultural Development Grants Cultural Development The Arts & Heritage Advisory Board (AHAB) is a volunteer Board appointed by City Council to advise on matters pertaining to arts and culture.

FCSS Grants  Social Development

FCSS grants are a funding partnership between the Province of Alberta and the City of Medicine Hat for preventive Social Services Programs. 

 

Application for these grants is now closed.

The deadline for applications was 4:30 pm, September 5, 2014.


MSI Grants
Social Development

MSI Operating grants for non-profit organizations are provided by the Alberta Government's Municipal Sustainability Initiative (MSI) Program and supported by the City of Medicine Hat. 

Application for these grants is now closed.

The deadline for applications was 4:30 pm, March 12, 2014.


UERAB Grants Parks & Recreation Special Events/Competition Assistance (UERAB) grants are available to registered not-for-profit groups, organizations or agencies involved in sports, recreation or leisure activities. Please see the brochure for criteria and application deadlines. The application form can be filled in online and printed for signature and submission.

Applications are reviewed by the Board one month after applications are due.
