The Community Wellness Education Council (CWEC) is a partnership of community groups and individuals concerned about the well-being of older persons and families. The CWEC hosts learning opportunities for older persons, families and anyone interested in healthy aging initiatives.
Our focus continues to:
- Enhance understanding, harmony and mutual support across the generations;
- Increase recognition of seniors’ contributions to families, communities and our country;
- Help our community learn how individual decisions and societal choices made today will affect our culture in the future;
- Encourage all sectors of society to be responsive to a diverse and aging population in a rapidly changing world;
- Create potential for aging-related products, technology or services; and,
- Promote healthy aging initiatives.
