Community Development – Senior Services
Do you have experience in a commercial kitchen and enjoy working with elderly clients?
We are looking to fill a position in our Food Services area of Senior Services. In this position, you will prepare meals; maintain a safe, clean kitchen; and set up for all facility programs, special and private events.
As our successful applicant, you bring excellent organizational skills and work diligently to complete tasks. Throughout your employment, your encouragement of our dedicated volunteers will support quality programming to our community, including Meals on Wheels. This position will work a varied work schedule, up to 20 hours per week. Availability will include days and occasional evenings & weekends.
- Successful completion of Grade 12 or high school equivalency diploma
- One (1) year of experience in a commercial kitchen
- Possess a current Class 5 license with an acceptable driving record
- Successful completion of a Food Safe Course
- Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
This position has been identified as Safety Sensitive and requires the completion of a satisfactory pre-employment drug screen.
