Bank Stabilization on the Seven Persons Creek Bypass Channel

Post Date:07/04/2018 1:48 PM

Medicine Hat – A contractor working on behalf of the Parks and Recreation Department will commence work to stabilize a small portion of the east bank of the Seven Persons Creek diversion channel in Kin Coulee Park, starting on Thursday, July 5, 2018.

The north access to the off-leash dog area will be closed due to the construction for approximately seven days.  Access will remain available to the off-leash dog area throughout construction from either the Saamis Tepee or Southwest Drive SW entrances.

The public is advised to obey all signage in the area and to remain a safe distance from any construction activities.

The Parks and Recreation Department would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this time and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
