Kin Coulee Night Tobogganing & Concession Services
Medicine Hat - Parks and Recreation’s recent installation of lighting at the Kin Coulee Toboggan Hill now allows for fun and safe participation for individuals and families wanting to toboggan during the evening hours. Lights are powered on by a solar cell, 4 pm to 10 pm, seven nights a week.
To add to the enjoyment of this nighttime activity at Kin Coulee, we are pleased to offer a limited concession service at the Kitchen Shelter near the Toboggan Hill. Menu items available for purchase include hot dogs, hot chocolate, coffee, water, and other small snacks.
The Concession will be open 12 noon to 7 pm on the following dates only:
- Sunday, February 3
- Saturday, February 9
- Saturday, February 16
- Monday, February 18 (Family Day)
- Saturday, February 23
Visitors are encouraged to utilize the picnic spaces and fire pits during these times. Ensure that fires use clean, burning wood, are controlled at all times and are fully extinguished before leaving the area.
Please pick up any wrappers, cups and bottles from your site and ensure any pet waste is removed.
In the case of inclement weather, we will notify the public of any closures via social media and our website www.medicinehat.ca.
Please toboggan safely and control speeds. Watch out for others using the hill and be respectful at all times.
