Ross Glen Linear Park Irrigation Upgrade Starts July 8
Irrigation Upgrade notice to public and adjacent property owners
Medicine Hat – Beginning the week of July 8, 2019, a contractor working on behalf of the City of Medicine Hat will commence an irrigation upgrade within Ross Glen Linear Park. Construction is anticipated to be complete in approximately 3 months.
Ross Glen Linear Park connects Cameron Road SE to Ross Glen Drive SE. Throughout construction, sections of the park and trails will be closed to ensure public safety and enable contractor efficiency. The public is advised to obey all area signage and to remain a safe distance from construction equipment and activities.

As part of the upgrade, properties that back onto the linear park will be having irrigation installed directly adjacent to their rear property line. All personal property that may extend into the park boundary must be removed.
Although capital upgrades are often inconvenient and pose a short-term challenge to community access, the City of Medicine Hat strives to improve the reliability of infrastructure and ultimately enhance the end user experience. The Parks and Recreation department would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this time and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
