City, Plains Midstream Partner to Ignite a New Project in Central Park
Medicine Hat – The City of Medicine Hat is proud to announce a new partnership with the Plains Midstream Canada in a new fit pit area at Central Park.
The new community fire pit area will replace the horseshoe pit and be open for families, friends and the neighbourhood to enjoy.
Construction will begin on Wednesday, September 9 and is expected to be completed by the end of the day. Surrounding park amenities will remain open during this time.
“Central Park really is a gathering place for residents and the community alike,” said Josie Doll, Corporate Partnerships Coordinator with the City of Medicine Hat. “There are so many amazing features about this park and this project will help set it apart from other parks around the city.”
“We understand the importance of building community,” said Jason Carter, District Manager with Plains Midstream Canada. “We hope this new feature becomes the focal point, where many memories are made and shared for years to come.”
The City of Medicine Hat and Plains Midstream Canada are committed to building strong communities together.
The City of Medicine Hat is continuing to pursue sponsorship and naming rights at numerous City-owned facilities. For more information, visit the City website.
