Connecting Community
Small actions add up. Together we can further build Medicine Hat's welcoming and inclusive small-town feel.
Connecting Community is a community initiative designed to enhance our sense of community and pride of place. Meet other Hatters through short videos, conversations and events, as well as through personal actions. Connecting Community is about participating together, learning about and from one another, and discovering our connections.
Connecting Community reminds us that we're all Hatters.

Project Hope
Project Hope began with students at River Heights Elementary School, reflecting on and answering questions about big and important topics including kindness, safety, love, and hope.
Students between the ages of five and 12 understood these abstract topics as actions and are sharing their words of wisdom and artwork depicting kindness, safety, love and hope.
May they inspire us to have conversations and take actions that perpetuate hope in our city.
