Pets are a part of your family and we want them to be safe and enjoy living in the City of Medicine Hat. Our animal bylaw keeps our community and pets safe by making sure owners understand their responsibilities.
Off Leash Dog Parks
We have two off-leash dog parks that you can enjoy all year long.
License your pet
Licensing your pet ensures they will be returned to you if they are ever lost. Our bylaw requires all dogs to be licensed annually.
All animals can be unpredictable. Please maintain a safe distance between yourself and any animal encountered. Do not provoke animals, and please don't feed wildlife.
