2023 New Year’s Eve Fest at Big Marble Go Centre

Medicine Hat – Big Marble Go Centre will host an array of fun, family activities from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 31.

The following activities are included:

  • Swimming – Make a splash and join us in the Kinsmen Aquatic Park! Swim times are regulated to maintain capacity levels. Swim tickets are required for one of two swimming times (1 - 2:15 p.m. and 2:45 - 4 p.m.) Free tickets available starting Dec. 27 at 7 a.m. at: www.tixx.ca 
  • Family Nerf Wars - Take aim and join the battle for our popular Nerf Wars! Blasters are supplied while supplies last. All ages are welcome. Tickets for Nerf Wars are required for one of three playing times. Free tickets are available starting Dec. 27at 7 a.m. at: www.tixx.ca 
    • 1 – 1:50 p.m.: Family Nerf Wars #1 – Fieldhouse 2
    •  2 – 2:50 p.m.: Family Nerf Wars #2 – Fieldhouse 2
    • 3 – 3:50 p.m.: Family Nerf Wars #3 – Fieldhouse 2
  • Skating – Public skating will be offered in the Cenovus Arena from 1 – 4 p.m. Ice will be cleared at 2:15 p.m. to allow the little ones to watch the Zamboni in action! Skating will resume at 2:45 p.m.
  • Tot Time – Preschool aged children will have a blast exercising their gross motor muscles in the gymnasium!
  • Floor Hockey - Big kids and adults can show off their deeks and dangles in Quadrant 3 of the gymnasium.
  • Inflatable Alley – Bounce into the New Year on inflatable obstacle courses, slides and jumping castles courtesy of Dunmore Dugout in Fieldhouse 1.
  • Yard Games – Enjoy household favorites in Quadrant 2 in the gymnasium.
  • Quiet Room located in the child-minding room.
  • New Year Countdown– Ring in the New Year at 3:45 p.m.

Admission to all the listed events is free, courtesy of the Big Marble Farms naming sponsorship. The South Country Co-op Fitness Area on the second floor will be open for regular price admission from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The Big Marble Go Centre will be open on New Year’s Day from noon to 5 p.m.
