Division Avenue South Rehabilitation shifts to next phase
Back to SearchMedicine Hat – The City of Medicine Hat will be moving into the next phase of the Division Avenue South Rehabilitation Project starting Monday, July 8. This phase of construction will include the rehabilitation of infrastructure between Old Cemetery Road SE and 12 Street SE including the road surface, curbs, gutters and multi-use trail.
To accommodate this work zone, Old Cemetery Road SE will be closed at the four-way stop intersection of Kipling Street SE and College Ave SE. Westbound access from the four-way stop will be limited to local traffic only to reach Kin Coulee Park and the Inland Skate Park.
Weather permitting, work on this phase of the Division Avenue South Rehabilitation Project is anticipated to be completed by August.
Traffic detours will be in effect and will change as the active construction zone progresses on this project. Motorists are reminded to obey all posted signs, speed limits and detours for the safety of travellers and crews.
