E-Scooters extend service to south end of city

Medicine Hat – Alberta-based company, Bird Canada, in partnership with the City of Medicine Hat, is excited to announce the expansion of its service zone to encompass the south end of the city.

"After the announcement of Bird’s return for a second year, we were inundated with requests to expand the program particularly to the south of the city," said Kara Brake, business and innovation coordinator, Parks and Recreation. "Safety of our residents was priority in the expansion process. We worked closely with Bird to ensure the appropriate geographical area and roadways were mapped out prior to launching.”

E-Scooters provide a fun, eco-friendly transportation option, encouraging users to embrace the outdoors while commuting or exploring the city. The expansion into the south end offers increased convenience and accessibility for residents and visitors.
