Flooded & Wet Trails

Medicine Hat – Parks and Recreation would like to advise that due to the recent above seasonal temperatures, increased snow melt in overland flooding areas has occurred at some of the Heritage Trail Network underpasses and low lying areas.

Please obey all signage and barricades in these areas. For the multiuse natural trails that are not paved, please do not use until they are fully dry. Riding or walking on these paths when muddy or wet significantly increases the maintences and decreases quality of these trails, and could pose a risk to users. This would apply specifically to the Mr. Burnside Trail which connects Medicine Hat to Redcliff trail systems.
