Installation of festive lighting begins

Medicine Hat – The installation of festive lighting will begin on Friday, November 12, 2021 in various parts of the city. The schedule is as follows, weather dependent:

  • Downtown
  • 1st Street SE
  • Maple Avenue Bridge
  • 8th Street NE
  • Division Avenue N near 20th Street NE
  • Kingsway Avenue SE and South Railway Street SE
  • Trans Canada Way SE
  • Carry Drive SE
  • Dunmore Road SE
  • 13th Avenue SE

The public is reminded to obey all traffic signs and posted speed limits in the area.

The City of Medicine Hat’s, City Assets, Surface Department, installs 354 festive lights every year in an effort to help celebrate the holiday season.
