Kiwanis Central Park Historic Whale Restoration and Maintenance
Medicine Hat – Beginning Wednesday May 2 and continuing up to the end of May, the Whale Slide in Kiwanis Central Park will be fenced off for maintenance and restoration and unavailable for public use.
As part of the Whale maintenance, work will involve interior and exterior concrete repairs as well as applying preservative paint that will withstand weather elements.
The public is advised to obey all signage in the area and to remain a safe distance from the fenced construction and construction activities.
The Parks and Recreation Department would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this time and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
