Neighbourhood Association Information Night aims to unite Hatters

Medicine Hat –Medicine Hat residents are encouraged to attend a Neighbourhood Association Information Night on Tuesday, February 25 at 6:30 p.m. in the Studio Theatre of the Esplanade Arts & Heritage Centre.

The event serves as an opportunity to learn more about what has been happening with Neighbourhood Associations in the community. It’s also a chance for residents to meet and connect with others who share their passion for building stronger, tight-knit neighbourhoods. Attendees can also brainstorm events and activities for their neighbourhood, while receiving guidance from experienced mentors to help with the next steps of forming an association.

The City of Medicine Hat is proud to be a co-host of this free event alongside the other partner organizations of Neighbourhood Associations of Medicine Hat & Area: Alberta Health Services, Medicine Hat Local Immigration Partnership, and Medicine Hat Public School Division.

“Neighbourhood Associations are important platforms for collaboration, giving residents the connections, relationships, and tools to work together,” said Shantel Ottenbreit, Community Resource Worker and Chair of Neighbourhood Associations of Medicine Hat. “Come connect with other proud Hatters from your neighbourhood as we collectively work to form an even more vibrant, united community.”
