Notice for Bridge Maintenance: Canadian Navigable Waters Act

The City of Medicine Hat hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, pursuant to the Canadian Navigable Waters Act for public comment described herein and its site and plans.

Pursuant to paragraph 10(1)(b) of the said Act, the City of Medicine Hat has deposited with the Minister of Transport, on the on-line Canadian Navigable Waters Common Project Search Registry (http://cps.canada.ca/), under registry number 8786, a description of the following work, its site and plans:

  • Bridge Maintenance

Maintenance work is planned at the Carry Drive bridge crossing Seven Persons Creek. Project scope includes, but is not limited to, recoating of exterior girder faces, patching of spalled curb sections, railing installation on shared-use trail beneath bridge and repair of asphalt wearing surface. All construction activity is located within NW 29-12-5-W4M and NE 29-12-5-W4M, within Medicine Hat, Alberta.
