Outdoor rink, pond volunteers needed for winter season

Medicine Hat – The City of Medicine Hat is looking for volunteers for the Adopt-a-Rink program. Currently there are vacancies at the following locations, but applications for all outdoor rinks are currently being accepted:

  • Leinweber Park pond
  • River Heights low board rink
  • Ross Glen high board rink
  • Southridge Park pond

Volunteers help maintain outdoor ice surfaces so all are able to enjoy. Our outdoor rinks rely on volunteers to assist in making these spaces operational and give residents an economical option for fun recreational winter activities.

The city would like to thank all of the volunteers to date who have dedicated themselves to helping maintain these spaces for our community.
