Playground installation at Big Marble Go Centre has commenced
Back to SearchMedicine Hat – Construction has begun on the new playground at the Big Marble Go Centre (BMGC).
This project is expected to be complete by July 2023. During construction access to the site will not be open to the public however, there will be minimal disruption to the surrounding walkway, roads, and parking lot.
To make way for additional parking near the new South Country Co-op pickleball courts, the previous BMGC playground was removed in 2021. The new playground will be strategically placed on the northeast side of the building, ensuring convenient access from all sides of the venue.
The new playground will feature an advanced play structure, swings for all ages and abilities, and accessible surfacing. These attributes are a direct results of stakeholder preferences and public input.
Signage will be placed around the perimeter of the construction area. Please allow crews room to work.
