Raising the Curtain Celebrates Diversity and Inclusion

Medicine Hat – Raising the Curtain, a community celebration of diversity and inclusion, is back for a second year in a row. The celebration, running from March 7th -29th 2018, will highlight diversity and inclusion through art, food , recreation, music, dance and awareness activities.

Events are free, open to the public and organized around the theme of diversity, building on the welcoming and inclusiveness of Medicine Hat.

Thanks to more than two dozen partners, there will be 32 organized events and exhibits to enjoy. Whether you are interested in learning about another culture or diverse perspectives, participating or spectating at a recreational activity, contributing to a standing exhibit, or just sitting down for coffee or tea with someone new – there are many opportunities to be a part of the celebration.

Event details can be found at www.medicinehat.ca/Diversity and www.facebook.com/RaisingMedHat.

Special thanks to our community partners and their dedicated staff and volunteers who are all committed to actively making Medicine Hat a community of choice and to Family and Community Support Services.
