Rehabilitation of Saamis Archaeological Trail begins August 22
Back to SearchMedicine Hat – Portions of the Saamis Archaeological Trail and two bridges in the area will be closed beginning Monday, August 22 and through to September 30 for trail repairs.
A new section of trail will be built, replacing a section which is currently closed.
The two bridges will also be reinforced to facilitate the necessary maintenance activity on the trail.
Access to the trail from the Kin Coulee Tunnel and Southwest Drive SW will be closed during this time. Please observe and follow constructions signs in the area.
The City of Medicine Hat would like to thank residents for their patience and understanding as the necessary improvements are completed.
