Request for Community Assistance Regarding Mosquito Habitats

Medicine Hat – With the recent moisture and increased temperatures, we are experiencing some adult mosquito activity. The Parks and Recreation Department will be monitoring known mosquito breeding sites and conducting control measures as required.

The Parks and Recreation Department is asking that the community assist in decreasing the numbers of these pests by being vigilant in checking your property for standing water or anything that could collect water, including rain gutters, planters, etc.

Thank you for your assistance in helping to keep the mosquito population down.
