Residential Recycling Is Rolling Out
Medicine Hat - The City of Medicine Hat, Environmental Utilities, is holding two information sessions for the Residential Recycling Program. Residents are invited to drop in at either one of the sessions to learn about the program that will roll-out late this spring:
Big Marble Go Centre - Main Lobby
Wednesday April 11, 2018
4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Hillcrest Church - Coffee House
Thursday April 12, 2018
4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
“These information sessions will the give us another opportunity to engage and educate residents,” said Brian Murphy, General Manager of the City’s Environmental Utilities Division. “At the Spring Home and Garden Show our Environmental Utilities staff had an opportunity to hear, understand and address common concerns and questions. We are pleased that the program has received such a positive response; success of the Residential Recycling Program depends on support and participation from residents.”
Children ages 3+ are encouraged to show their creativity and enter the Blue Cart Colouring Contest. The contest is open until April 20, 2018, and a winner in each category will receive a $100 gift card to the Big Marble Go Centre and a photo with the Mayor. Contest entries can be printed from the City’s website or picked up at City Hall.
Detailed information is always available on the City’s website, through the MyWaste App and by calling Environmental Utilities at 403.529.8176.
