Residents reminded to practice caution on roadways and park trails

As the snow melts with the rising temperatures, residents are reminded to be cautious on roadways, park trails, sidewalks, and parking lots.

Snow and ice accumulation on roadways and park trails can create hazardous conditions for residents. As temperatures rise and snow melts, it is important for pedestrians and drivers alike to exercise caution and remain vigilant.

Melting snow can create puddles and slippery surfaces, which can be dangerous for those on foot. In addition, melting snow can obscure potholes and other hazards on roadways, making it important for drivers to slow down and stay alert. 

By remaining cautious and aware of your surroundings, residents can help ensure their safety and the safety of others.

Crews will be sanding and/or removing icy sections to the best of their ability during this time.
