Ross Glen Towne Centre Park Irrigation Upgrade

Medicine Hat – Beginning Monday, October 16, 2017, a contractor working on behalf of the City of Medicine Hat Parks Department will commence an irrigation upgrade within Ross Glen Towne Centre Park. This project replaces aging irrigation infrastructure that has surpassed its anticipated lifespan.

Throughout the duration of construction, the Ross Glen Towne Centre playground located within the 100 block of Ross Glen Road SE will remain in service. Soccer fields located within the park as well as Harriet McArady baseball field will be temporarily unavailable during this time. Intermittent pathway closures may occur as the installation of irrigation lines cross asphalt surfaces. Anticipated completion of this project is expected by the end of 2017 with minor seasonal deficiencies being completed in the spring of 2018.

The public is advised to obey all signage in the area and to remain a safe distance from construction activities.

The Parks and Recreation Department would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this time and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
