South Railway Street – South Flats Project Update
Back to SearchMedicine Hat – Construction to complete the remaining work on the South Railway Street-South Flats project is anticipated to resume during the week of April 02, 2018 (weather dependent).
In 2017, deep utilities and surface improvements were completed from the bottom of Scholten Hill to the Allowance Avenue overpass. The remaining deep utilities and surface work from the overpass to Kingsway Avenue SE is anticipated to be completed over the spring/summer 2018.
Initially, minimal temporary traffic control measures will be required. As construction activities increase later in the spring, additional temporary traffic control measures/traffic detours will be set-up. Please obey all traffic signs/signals and drive safely around work crews.
The City of Medicine Hat would like to thank everyone for your support and patience as we undertake this important project and remind everyone that access to local businesses will be maintained throughout the project.
