Spray parks, outdoor pools opening for summer swim season

Medicine Hat – Operational work to reopen the City’s spray parks for the summer swim season will begin on Monday, May 16.

Crews will start at Strathcona Island Park and Central Park, weather permitting.

On Monday, May 24, testing will continue at Ross Glen Towne Centre and Saamis Rotary Park.

During this time, residents and visitors may see water features turned on for testing.

The spray parks at Strathcona Island Park and Central Park are expected to open on Friday, May 20. Ross Glen Towne Square and Saamis Rotary Park will open to the public on Friday, June 3.

Spray parks are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Additionally, Hill Pool and Strathcona Pool will open on Friday, June 3.
