The City is seeking resident input on the future of Arts, Heritage, and Entertainment

Medicine Hat – The City is seeking community input for the Arts, Heritage, and Entertainment Master Plan that will provide a framework for the next five years.

This master plan will identify, develop, and communicate a comprehensive roadmap that will set the direction of arts, heritage, and entertainment sectors for the City of Medicine Hat. The engagement process, crucial to the plan's success, will include a series of workshops, surveys, and public forums to ensure broad community involvement. It aims to identify cultural assets, develop a shared vision, and create a realistic action plan.

“Medicine Hat has already established itself as a destination for immersive cultural experiences,” says Aaron Nelson, manager of arts, heritage, and culture. “From music festivals to historical exhibitions, we’ve seen the powerful impact of these initiatives on our community's spirit. In developing this master plan, our goal is to continue offering experiences that resonate deeply with our residents, enhancing their overall quality of life while attracting cultural tourism to our city.”
