Tickets now on sale for Fire Services’ Gala celebrating 125 years of service

Medicine Hat – Tickets for the Firefighter’s Gala, a one-time event celebrating the 125th Anniversary of Medicine Hat Fire and Emergency Services (MHFES), are now on sale. The event will take place on Saturday, October 25, at Co-op Place and is open to all members of the public who wish to commemorate this historic milestone.

Guests will enjoy an evening of celebration, including a formal dinner, dancing, a silent auction in support of the Firefighters’ Charitable Foundation, and live entertainment. The evening will feature dueling pianos with Jared Brake, Tyler Casat, and Nic Evangelos, as well as a performance by the Lethbridge Firefighters Pipe and Drum Band, and more.

“The gala is an opportunity to honour the service and sacrifice of our firefighters—past and present—and to thank the community that has supported us for more than a century,” said Fire Chief Chad Eakins. “We invite residents to join us for an evening of reflection, celebration, and connection.”

The Firefighter’s Gala is part of a broader lineup of events marking the department’s 125th Anniversary, including two community open houses and a historical photo exhibit at the Esplanade.
