Vehicular Access Restrictions Strathcona Island Park
Medicine Hat – The Municipal Works Department would like to inform the public that vehicular access into Strathcona Island Park will be restricted to emergency vehicles only on Monday, April 23. City crews will be completing a test installation of the demountable barrier system which is an imperative part of the overland flow protection system for the Flats community.
With this closure, vehicular access to the boat launch, Lovell McDonnell Field, Heritage Pavilion, and Strathcona Island Playground will not be available to the public.
The City of Medicine Hat would like to thank the public for their understanding as we complete our yearly training and preparations for the upcoming season.
