Work to trail along Police Point Dr. NE set to begin

Medicine Hat - Starting Wednesday, September 20 the City will commence work on the trail along Police Point Dr. NE. The section of the trail being worked on has been identified as a low spot, causing concerns regarding proper winter maintenance.

The construction will include raising the trail, adding a drainage swale, and installing a culvert. This work aims to improve the trail's usability during winter months while also enhancing drainage in the area. Completion of the project is anticipated for October 2023. The trail will be closed to public access for the duration of the construction. Residents are reminded to use caution near the work zone and obey all construction signage and personnel.
