Fees, check-in and payment

Fees

Members: Childminding is included with a 31-day pass, monthly continuous pass, or annual pass (for either the adult or child) for a maximum use of 2 hours per day. The child’s profile will have a Member Childminding Punch Pass (no fee) attached to their profile for ease of tracking daily hours.

Non-Members: $1.50 for each half hour

Payment options include a Non-Member Childminding Punch Pass (to be added to the child’s profile) or payment at the front desk before using the service. Proof of payment must be shown to childminding staff upon entry.

Bulk passes are non-transferable - each child must have their own bulk pass.

Check-in and payment

For those without a punch pass, pre-payment at the front desk is required for childminding. For those with a punch pass, childminding staff will ensure that the appropriate number of punches are deducted from each child's pass after use.

General policies and reminders
  • Attendance: Parents/guardians must remain on-site while using childminding services and a cell phone number is required.
  • Pick-up and drop-off: Children are to be dropped off and picked up at their scheduled times. A 5-minute grace period is allowed. If a child is not picked up within this time, staff will contact the parent/guardian. After 15 minutes, an additional fee applies. Repeated late pick-ups may result in a temporary suspension from childminding services.
  • Diapering and bathroom breaks: Staff can assist based on parental comfort level. Parents must provide their own diapers and wipes.
  • Shoes: Outside shoes must be removed while in the childminding room. Socks must be worn to ensure safety and cleanliness.
  • Food: Due to the potential for serious allergic reactions, there is no food allowed in the child-minding area. Children are encouraged to have their snack in the main lobby or at one of our food services locations under the supervision of their parent/guardian before or after care. As an additional safety measure, allergies should be brought to the attention of the childminding caregivers.
  • Personal belongings: Label all belongings and take them when leaving. Do not leave valuables in bags; we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Medications: Staff do not administer medications. Emergency medications (e.g., EpiPens) are an exception and will be placed in the emergency medication bin.
  • Health and illness: Child minding is unavailable for children with:
    • Fever, persistent coughing, contagious illnesses (e.g., chickenpox, measles, hand-foot-and-mouth disease, pink eye, lice, etc.), vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, or sore throat.
    • If a child becomes ill while in care, parents/guardians will be notified for immediate pick-up.
