We have numerous sports fields and courts available for group and private rentals. From basketball courts to soccer fields,  ice rinks and tennis courts are available for you, your family and your team.

No private rentals available, minimum 2 lanes open for passholders or day pass users of the Big Marble Go Centre.

Joint use facilities

A Joint Use agreement between the City of Medicine Hat, School District No. 76, the Catholic Board of Education, and the Medicine Hat College allows shared access to various facilities throughout the community, including:

  • Alexandra multi-purpose room
  • Ball diamonds
  • Fields
  • School gymnasiums
  • Tennis courts

Joint Use Application

Criteria for user groups to access

A City or School approved or operated program/group

  1. Not-for-profit activity
  2. Has activities that are recreational, cultural or educational in nature
  3. Has 1 million liability insurance naming the City and the Board on whose land they are conducting their activities
  4. Falls in line with strategic priorities and values of shared user agreement partners

And a minimum of:

  • 75% City of Medicine Hat residents
  • 12 participants per booking
