Changes to Transit related to COVID-19
  •  Beginning July 20 Medicine Hat Transit will further ease restrictions for riders, removing the 'Essential Travel Only' guidelines.
  • Capacity limits have increased. Passengers are reminded to practice physical distancing in bus shelters and while on buses.
  • On-surgical masks will be offered to passengers on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Additional cleaning measures on buses and at the Downtown Terminal will be continuing.
  • Tickets and transfers will not be issued or accepted at this time. MH Transit will be offering refunds for anyone with bus tickets in amounts of 10 or full sheets.
  • Bus passes for August will be sold at 50% off.
  • Regular Transit will continue to operate on an alternate schedule. Regular Monday to Friday Transit service will operate on the Saturday schedule. On Saturday and Sunday, the regular Sunday schedule will be in effect. Schedules are available below. The DoubleMap app will be updated to reflect the new schedules.
  • Riders are also encouraged to plan trips during off-peak hours where possible to help maintain updated capacity limits.

Peak Service Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM - 6:45 PM

Non Peak Service Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 6:45 PM - 10:45 PM
  • Saturday, 6:45 AM - 10:45 PM
  • Sunday, 8:15 AM - 7:15 PM
  • Holidays, 10:15 AM - 6:15 PM (see below for holidays observed)
