The Kipling Overland Flow Protection Strategy Project involves flood protection for a residential and industrial area in the southwest area of the city. This area is located along Seven Persons Creek upstream of the confluence with the South Saskatchewan River. The Kipling project is along the north bank of Seven Persons Creek from just west of Dotty Ave SE to the bridge along Kingsway Ave SE. The Kipling Project is immediately upstream of the Kingsway Project which involves flood protection for properties along Seven Persons Creek. More detailed information on the progress of this project will be provided at a later date.
