What's this about?

The City of Medicine Hat is undertaking a comprehensive update to its guiding vision, the Municipal Development Plan. We need your help!

Crafting a new vision for our diverse city is a complex task. The City's Planning department, which is creating the plan, must conduct research and analysis, analyze data on current and future trends, incorporate specialized expertise from various disciplines, prepare environmental analysis, and craft policy proposals.

Just as importantly, it is essential to build ongoing public consensus to ensure that the plan reflects concerns and aspirations of community members. To help achieve these objectives, the myMH team will be posting opportunities for you to express your vision of Medicine Hat's long-term future.

Live today.  Imagine tomorrow.

Do you and your friends or colleagues have ideas for a future vision of Medicine Hat? Why not organize your own kitchen table conversation? What is it? It's a self-organized meeting with a small group of people interested in a community topic - in this case, ideas relevant to the long-range future of our city.

Below is a simple step-by-step guide for you to follow to create your own event, then how to send in your results so your group can contribute their ideas to the myMH Plan. Submissions must be made by July 31, 2018. Get started today!
