The Meals on Wheels Program
The Meals on Wheels Program is for those who are unable to make their own meals. Meals are delivered hot, Monday through Friday, with frozen meals available for the weekends. Meals are are delivered during our delivery window, between 9:30 am to 11:30 am by our trained volunteers.
The cost is affordable with invoices mailed at the beginning of the month for the month prior, and are payable at City Hall or any banking institution. To confirm the cost, check on-line or call 403.525.8885.

The meals are prepared at #TheBistro at The Veiner Centre and delivered to your home Monday through Friday, with frozen meals sent out on Fridays for weekends or the day prior to #TheBistro closures such as statutory holidays. The menu is different each day and consists of soup, salad, main course (protein, starch, vegetable) and dessert. All Meals on Wheels dinners are set at a flat rate at $8.50/meal as of April 3, 2017.
Changes to Meals or Cancellation of Service
Meals On Wheels customers should allow two business days’ notice when signing up for meals or amending/canceling the service. Please call your Meals On Wheels Coordinator at 403.525.8885.

Please note that all new applications for Meals on Wheels are subject to approval, and may take 2-3 business days to process your request.
