The City of Medicine Hat’s Environmental Utilities and Municipal Works Departments undertook two major construction projects on South Railway Street in 2017. These important projects replaced aging infrastructure, meeting Council’s strategic priority to ensure high-quality, well-maintained and affordable municipal infrastructure, with attention to our deep utilities and transportation network. The Downtown Project was completed on October 17, 2017.
Work is now nearly completed on the South Flats portion.
