Certified Sensory Inclusive

In March 2025, Co-op Place obtained its KultureCity® Sensory Inclusive™ Certification.

KultureCity® is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to promoting inclusivity and accessibility for individuals with sensory needs. Their Sensory Inclusive™ program has been widely embraced by venues, stadiums, and cultural institutions across Canada and around the world. With this new certification, the Esplanade is now better prepared to assist guests with sensory sensitivities in having the most comfortable and accommodating experience possible when attending an event. Tips to Enjoy the Show

To ensure you have the best experience at Co-op Place, subscribe to our emails and follow us on social media. Doing so will keep you up to date on the latest news, events, transportation and parking options, security information and other pertinent details.

Pre-purchase your event tickets

If you have any ticketing questions, our ticket office staff can most effectively answer them before the day of the event. You’ll also get a better seat selection!

Arrive early

This will give you the opportunity to get prime parking, avoid the rush, visit with friends and catch every second of the action.

Plan for a safe ride home

We care about how you get home. Remember, the life of the party is the designated driver.

Leave all prohibited items at home

There will be bag checks and other searches as deemed necessary. For the full list of prohibited items visit tixx.ca/terms-and-conditions. To skip the bag check and enter the facility via the Express Line, leave your purse or bag in your vehicle. Once you enter the building, there is no re-entry policy in effect.

Designated Smoking Area

Co-op Place has a no re-entry policy during Medicine Hat Tigers hockey games. This is in the interest of public safety and aligns with industry and venue standards throughout Canada.

A designated smoking area will be located outside, directly accessible from the Molson Lounge area behind section Q on the concourse. Alcoholic beverages and cannabis are not permitted in the exterior smoking area. This area is not accessible for minors. Patrons utilizing this space are to follow the guidelines set forth by staff, and remain at least 5 meters from any door, window, or air intake while smoking.

Venue staff and security are onsite during Tigers games to assist, and answer questions as needed.
