Selected candidates will receive an email notification between April 10–17, 2026.

Confirm Your Spot
If selected, you will have until April 22, 2026 to confirm your participation.

Travel and Event Details
Once confirmed, you will receive an official invitation including travel details, the full event agenda, and other important information.

Travel between Calgary and Medicine Hat, as well as hotel accommodation and meals during the program, will be provided for selected participants.

The two-day experience is designed to introduce you to the career opportunities, employers, and lifestyle that make Medicine Hat a unique place to launch or grow your career.

Evening Networking Mixer

May 7 | 7:00–9:00 PM

The program begins with a relaxed evening mixer where participants can connect with local employers, community leaders, and fellow candidates. This is a chance to start building relationships and get a feel for the professional community in Medicine Hat.

Community & Career Exploration

May 8 | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Day two features a guided introduction to the city and its opportunities, including:

• A city tour highlighting local amenities and lifestyle advantages

• Opportunities to network directly with employers

• Insights into key industries shaping the region

• Site visits to participating businesses

Tour locations will be selected based on participants’ areas of interest and employer availability, ensuring the experience is relevant to your career goals.
