| Description | Started boxing in 1927 and competed coached and organized boxing for 51 years. Taught boxing in his basement, Longfellow Rural School, community facilities and in the Armed Forces in World War II. Helped form the Medicine Hat Boxing Club in 1976. Please note: This inductee was originally part of the community’s 'Wall of Fame' and was transferred to the 'Sports Wall of Fame' in 2010. |
