Big Marble Go Centre hosts Family Day Fest

Medicine Hat – Big Marble Go Centre will host an array of fun, family activities from 12 noon to 5 pm on Family Day, Monday, February 21.

Admission to the Family Day Fest is free, courtesy of the Big Marble Farms naming sponsorship. 

The activities below take place at scheduled times: 

Swimming & Wibit Sports Aqua Track – Please note that patrons must be eight (8) or older to try the Wibit Aqua Track. Swim times are regulated in order to maintain capacity levels.

Patrons are asked to pick up a ticket when they arrive for one of two swim times throughout the day:  

• 12:00 pm – 2:15 pm 
• 2:45 pm – 5:00 pm 

Public Skating Sponsored by Cash n Carry – Taking part in the public skate happening at the Cenovus Arena from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm.

The ice will be cleared at 1:30 pm and 3:15 pm to allow the little ones to watch the zamboni at work. Skating will resume at 1:45 pm and 3:30 pm.  

Family Nerf Wars – Take aim and join the battle for our popular Nerf Wars. Blasters are supplied while supplies last. All ages welcome.

At the admission desk, patrons are asked to select one of five playing times to guarantee your spot: 

• 12:00 – 12:45 pm: Family Nerf Wars #1 – Fieldhouse 2 
• 1:00 – 1:45 pm: Family Nerf Wars #2 – Fieldhouse 2 
• 2:00 – 2:45 pm: Family Nerf Wars #3 – Fieldhouse 2 
• 3:00 – 3:45 pm: Family Nerf Wars #4 – Fieldhouse 2 
• 4:00 – 4:45 pm: Family Nerf Wars #5 – Fieldhouse 2 

The following activities occur for the duration of the event: 

Inflatable Alley – Fieldhouse 1 
Bounce around on inflatable obstacle courses, slides and jumping castles from Dunmore Dugouts. 

Tot Time – Gymnasium 
Preschool aged children will have a blast exercising their gross motor muscles! 

Floor Hockey – Gymnasium 
Big kids and adults can show off their deeks and dangles in Quadrant 4 of the gymnasium. 

Yard Games – Gymnasium 

Puzzles, Games and Play Doh – Playroom 

The South Country Co-op Fitness Centre on the second floor will be open for regular use.
