City Launches List of Community Supports

Medicine Hat – The City of Medicine Hat has launched a new community page, outlining the numerous supports and resources available as part of the COVID-19 response. The list includes government agencies, cultural supports, financial assistance, grocery stores, mental health resources, and many more.

“In times of crisis, residents can feel overwhelmed in finding the right resources at the right time. Our hope is that this list of supports will ease a bit of the tension for those greatly impacted by this situation,” said Shona Dickie, Superintendent of Community Support Services with the City of Medicine Hat.

The City of Medicine Hat and other organizations are working hard to support our residents during this time, while changing how we all interact with the public to maintain appropriate social distancing. If visiting any of the resources identified on this list, be sure to practice proper hygiene as described on the Government of Alberta’s website.

You can find ongoing information on City-related impacts at our COVID-19 page.
