City seeks resident input on the future of Community Well-being
Medicine Hat – The City is seeking community input for the Community Well-being Plan that will provide a framework for the next five to 10 years.
The Community Well-being Plan is a strategic document that outlines our community’s top goals and priorities around well-being. It will be made up of specific strategies and actions to improve well-being for you and your family.
In the past, much work has been done within the community related to social well-being, quality of life, and inclusion. As Medicine Hat grows and changes, new opportunities and challenges related to well-being have emerged. The Community Well-Being Plan will establish an updated vision and strategies that reflect the diverse needs and experiences of our community.
“With the evolving needs of our community, it’s essential that the Community Well-being Plan address the current challenges and opportunities that face Medicine Hat,” says Shona Dickie, manager, Community Supports, City of Medicine Hat. “We’ve been working with partners and stakeholders and now want to hear from the community to ensure the plan will be informed, realistic and achievable. This plan will serve as a roadmap to guide our efforts in creating a healthier, more inclusive community where everyone can thrive.”
