City Council received the following items for information:

A non-statutory public hearing for the Transportation Master Plan was called to order. Stan Nowakowski, Director of Municipal Works, provided a presentation on the Transportation Master Plan. City Council then approved a motion to include all of the late submissions from the public as part of the public record and conducted the public hearing.
City Council approved a motion to extend the meeting until 11:10 p.m. as per Procedure Bylaw 4725.
Under New Business, City Council:
- Approved the appointment of Mr. Don Knutson as a member of the Assessment Review Board, with the appointment commencing on July 8, 2025.
- Approved a motion directing administration to report back to Council with options for Council’s consideration that would accomplish the following objectives:
- To restrict development at 1064 First Street SW (the “Property”) to single family/residential or medium density; and
- To limit development on the property to a maximum of two stories or a maximum building height of 10.5 metres from grade level, whichever is less.
City Council approved a motion to extend the meeting until discussion of the following item, as per Procedure Bylaw 4725:
- Approved and ratified the Memorandum of Agreement reached between the parties concerning a collective agreement for the term of January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2027, and providing, inter alia, for the following general wage adjustments:
- 3% effective January 1, 2024;
- 3% effective January 1, 2025;
- 3% effective January 1, 2026;
- 3% effective January 1, 2027.
Items 11.1, 12.1 and 12.2 were deferred to the July 21, 2025 meeting.
